Original picture of the artist juan planella i rodríguez (1850-1910), painted in 1882 which received the third medal in the national exhibition of fine arts of madrid in the year 1883 and appeared in the universal exhibition of barcelona of the year 1888. The painting is oil on fabric with dimensions 182x142cm, the picture has two different names: the working girl and the little weaver. The picture a girl represents being employed at a loom at a textile factory of the barcelona of the 19th century, this picture turned into a real symbol of the industrialized catalonia.
