Gheorghe tattarescu - head of madonna, bucharest city museum, 36. 7x26 cm. The portrait of the madonna unfolded vertically on the support, is seen from the front, with the head in half profile left, slightly bent forward. The physiognomic features are well defined, the long, wavy hair is gathered around the head, combed in a parting in the middle. The vestment (dark red with ocher and white borders) is corseted with a wide neckline, and on the left shoulder she wears an emerald green drape, which can also be seen in the lower right corner of the support, in chromatic harmony with the background. The work is made during his italian studies, being a copy after raphael.
