The Algerian attractions palace, west facade., 1900
The algerian palace of the 1900 paris world fair featured a cluster of buildings which enabled visitor to discover several types of algerian dwellings. It housed a diorama (large painted landscape animated with light and sound effects), a stereorama, and a few restaurants and cafes. There was also a "street of algers" in the center of the building.
