Ivan Enchev-Vidyu Bulgarian Folk Crosses 435, 9 October 1917

435. Cross - tombstone, around the cemeteries of the village. Nalbant, north dobruja, carved from white fine-grained sandstone in 1859. Female cross. Its upper wing is round, the side wings are small and square. And his face is decorated with friezes of zigzag ornament - engraved lines and triangles carved pyramidally inwards; a large four-winged cross is carved in the middle; its lower wing is longer than the other three, and on the left and right are carved two smaller four-winged and isosceles crosses - all with triangular wings. The monument is half-destroyed, bears an inscription and a date. The inscription is buried in the ground, it consists of only one word: "chena". Dimensions: 70x43x9 cm. Sketched on 9. X. 1917 (vol. 8, obr. 19. ). Date: 9 October 1917.
