My beloved mum! i've just finished washing the dishes so i want to send my dear mum my first greetings in the new year. Yes, you'll laugh when you read about washing the dishes, especially on new year's day, but there are three of us in the bunker, so a different one does the work every day, and today it was my turn. Our "splendid lighting", the carbide lamp, just went out, now the "line" is working again. So we just live from day to day. Today we had a wonderful meal, but i want to tell you that it won't make your mouth water, so we had: roast goose, 6 men and one goose, vegetables, sauce, potatoes and for dessert apricot compote, well what do you say [you're so big, aren't you?].
