These are the portraits of cojo (kodjo), mentor and present. These three men were convicted for the great city fire of paramaribo (1832). The fire destroyed in a short time about 50 houses and the lutheran church. The drawing was made by the surinamese artist gerrit schouten on january 24, 1833 and was later found among the papers of the president of the court of justice, judge adriaan françois lammens. Date: 24 January 1833.
