At sea off the coast of cape hateras, n. C. (july 21, 2002) -- divers from mobile diving and salvage unit two (mdsu-2), little creek amphibious base, norfolk va, prepare to enter the water to make a dive on the sunken civil war ironclad, uss monitor. Mdsu-2 is taking part in efforts to recover the turret of the battleship for display.
