Presumed portrait of elizabeth charlotte of the palatinate, duchess of orléans (1652-1722), misidentified with her mother-in-law anne of austria (1601-1666). Identification proposed by user ecummenic (talk) based on the comparison with some portraits of elizabeth charlotte (see images below) and the lack of physical resemblance of the sitter of this portrait to verified representations of anne of austria. Object Type: painting. Date: between 1670 and 1690 (approach based on the sitter's clothing and hairstyle). Dimensions: height: 14 in (35.5 cm); width: 11 in (27.9 cm). Medium: oil on canvas.
