Aspertini sketch-book (so-called london i): 27th opening left (1898,1123. 3(27) verso) and right-hand page (1898,1123. 3(28) recto) with scenes from trajan's column: naked soldiers fighting (upper part of opening); battle of roman and dacian soldiers (lower part of opening) c. 1535 pen and brown ink, over black chalk, on vellum.
