Horizontal rectangle. Upon clouds. In the center is the virgin, in a glory of rays. At left is an angel playing the lute. At right another one playing the organ; both with groups of angels. Cherubim below. Compare with drawing by [sp?] reproduced in röhrer "sammlung h. S röhrer," augsburg, 1928, pl. 103. Salimbeni attribution considered wrong by philip pouncy (verbally, march, 1958). Date: early 17th century. Dimensions: 14.1 × 25.8 cm (5 9/16 × 10 3/16 in.). Medium: brush and gray wash, crayon, pen and ink, sepia on paper. Collection: Cooper Hewitt, Smithsonian Design Museum.
