Posthumous portrait of fairman rogers (1903) by joseph decamp. Fairman rogers (1833-1900); one of four professors who founded penn's department of mines, arts and manufacturers, 1855. Civil engineer and university trustee. Founding member of zeta psi fraternity. Director of the pennsylvania academy of the fine arts. Author of a manual of coaching (1899). Date: circa 1880.
