The two horses, to left, wearing no harness or rugs, stretch out their heads and necks towards food offered by a man standing to right who holds a bucket which one of the horses has reached, and a section of hay in his other hand, his companion watching; the open stable visible to the far left. 1822 lithograph tinted with a beige tint-stone.
