So-caled portrait of elisabeth christine of brunswick-wolfenbüttel-bevern (1715-1797), wife of frederick ii of prussia, but is probably a depiction of catherine ii of russia (1729-1796). Identification proposed by user ecummenic (talk) based on the comparison with a portrait of catherine ii made by anna rosina de gasc in 1742 (see image below). Object Type: painting.
