Plate 22: two soldiers from the mounted republican guard, the one on horseback, to left, in a blue jacket with white trousers, tall black boots, a white strap across his chest, a helmet with a red tassel and an adornment at the top, the other man, to right, in a dark blue tunic, blue trousers with a dark blue stripe, grey hat with red trim; both have red epaulettes, white gloves and each is equipped with a sword hand-coloured lithograph.
