Tall, cylindrical glass vase (a) with slightly flared mouth; dark green leaf motif at bottom eased over gold favrile glass. Vase fits into socket of bronze base (b) patinated at top, inverted trumpet-shaped, ruffled, resting on series of horizontal s-curves picked out with gilding. Three metal 3-pronged holders (c,d,e) to fit into base to hold vase. Date: circa 1900. Dimensions: H x diam.: 37.5 x 9 cm (14 3/4 x 3 9/16 in.). Medium: cast bronze, mold-blown favrile glass.
