The painter anna peters came from a family of artists and painted mainly floral still lifes. In this oil painting she painted a bouquet of blossomed sunflowers, embedding the vase in a landscape. Presumably, she wanted to refer to the cycle of nature. Her paintings were already in demand on the art market during her lifetime. Date: 1863.
