inscription concerning the title - top left above the line, in pencil: "antoine (abbaye s. . )/1481"

inscription - bottom left, handwritten text, in pencil: "tracing reduced by half of a pen drawing, traced on parchment and preserved in the archives (iiird class, nº 730)/ this naive drawing comes (as indicated by a note on the back, and in writing from the 18th century) from the abbey-s-antoine des champs, and represents/this abbey and outbuildings in 1481, date attributed in the drawing the details of the church agree quite well with those offered by some engravings. The stone cross, at the bottom, on the right, is undoubtedly the one raised at the place where in 1465, during the war of the public good, louis of the abbey ditch, a ditch since named: betrayals. " bottom left, under the line: "bonnardot tracing/(see the original tracing on the back for the characters)"
