Surgical removal (lat. Extractio) of a rifle bullet on the outside (lat. Facies glutaea) of the right iliac wing (lat. Ala ossis ilii) at the level of the iliac crest (lat. Crista iliaca) (right, fig 1), bullet impression on the outside of the prepared right ilium (iliac wing at the level of the iliac crest) (top left, fig 2) and the front of the prepared left tibia (lat. Tibia) at the level of the shaft (lat. Corpus tibiae), at the anterior edge (lat. Margo anterior) (bottom left, fig 3). Date: 1840.
