Ivan Enchev-Vidyu Bulgarian Folk Crosses 697, 14 March 1916

697. A. Cross - tombstone, in the cemeteries of the town. Kyustendil, made of gray sandstone 56 years ago (according to the inscription on the sarcophagus slab). Four-winged; its upper three wings are equal and quartered; on the sides, when carving out the wings, relief belts, cut in a wavy manner, are left. On his face is carved a regular cross, the upper wing of which terminates in two arches curving outwards in the form of eyebrows, below them two dots; between the two upper wings are carved two angles, and between the lower two triangles. An isosceles cross is carved on the reverse side. The lower wing of the monument is longer and is inserted into the slab of the sarcophagus. B. The cross seen in profile. C.
