Farman by the Mughal ruler Jahangir (Asnad.org, 5), 18 April 1626

Twelve bigahs of land in mohzang at lahore formerly bought by father joseph da castro should be returned to him for use as a cemetery and a garden while he is freed from all taxes. This farman is a copy of a farman of jahangir. The date given in the farman is: ". Passed on the 29th of the month farwardin in the 21st year of his accession…". Date: 18 April 1626.
