Four figures near a dilapidated building, Pieter van Laer, between 1610 and 1642

In the foreground, a woman sits spinning in profile. A man, of whom only the upper body is visible, stands to her right. In front of her, a kneeling man bends down from behind, holding a small hammer and appears to be repairing something. A young girl opposite him, from the front, watches what he is doing. Of a small boy, only the head is visible near the girl's lower body. A donkey in the background licks a barrel on the left side of the print. Two dilapidated buildings can be seen in the distance. At the bottom left is written: pv laer f. Object Type: etching technique. Date: between 1610 and 1642. Collection: Collection Voorhelm Schneevoogt. Vier figuren bij een vervallen gebouw.
