Portrait of archbishop carl von rosenstein (1766-1836). Oil on doubled canvas, 64 x 54 cm. Carl von rosenstein was archbishop and baptized the future kings karl xv and oscar ii. Rosenstein is wearing a priest's robe with eleven around his neck and around his neck he wears the red cross of the order of charles xiii and the commander's cross of the order of the north star. The bust of the order of the seraphim is visible on the chest, as well as the ditto of charles xiii's order. He also wears a gilded archbishop's cross. It is probably from the 1820s.
