Ivan Enchev-Vidyu Bulgarian Folk Crosses 596, 1914

596. Cross - tombstone, in the old cemeteries near the village. Kurilo, sofia, 100-150 years ago, made of gray grinding stone. Four-winged; all wings flare outward trapezoidally; the lower wing is longer and is buried without a plinth in the ground; the upper wing ends with three spikes, and the middle two with two each, which have a diameter of 4 cm; on the cross a line is carved parallel to the final contour, and likewise in the middle a four-winged cross is carved, the ends of which expand in the form of triangles; technique and drawing good. Dimensions: 52x90x7. 5 cm. Sketched in [missing city] 1914. (vol. 2, obr. 30. ). Date: 1914.
