A hunting scene. A rider falls over the head of his horse, which has fallen in leaping a five-barred gate (left). He is about to fall on to a young lady who lies on her back, having been thrown from her horse, which is galloping away (right). A second lady is leaping the gate, her whip raised high above her head. Four dogs add to the confusion. 25 march 1780
