Field post letters from hans koch, vienna, world war ii, eastern front, 1922-1945 previous letter (11/20/1943) letter no. 208 (11/22/1943) next letter (11/24/1943) [i can't report much new]. It's always the same old story. It's snowed again now, and the snow probably won't go away now. It's not too cold yet! when it gets colder we'll get winter clothing like last year. So you don't need to worry about freezing to death, there are felt boots again too. I'm still healthy too, and that's important. - now to you, my mum, are you healthy? are you working again and where? i wrote about it in my last letter. What else is new in my dear vienna? did you have an alarm again? please say hello to all my friends! greetings and kisses from the bottom of my heart, your hansl. Date: 22 November 1943.
