Frontispiece to molière, 'sgnarelle ou le cocu imaginaire', in 'select comedies of mr de molière' (london, 1732), vol. 1; sgnarelle's wife standing in the street at right, holding up a small picture in an oval frame to her face, it is a portrait of a young man that she has found on the ground; sgnarelle approaching behind in consternation, making the sign of a cuckold's horns above his own head; church behind at left.
