A pen and ink drawing done by f. J. Widgery. These were his forte, and he is regarded highly by historians as being a master of this particular skill. Widgery is well-known throughout devon for his extraordinary sketch collection - consisting of 500-600 works - which he bestowed upon the royal albert memorial museum in the occasion of his death. These pencil and crayon sketches were done for study as well as for leisure.
