Belonging to the main altarpiece of the church of the agustinos calzados de madrigal school along with the adoration of the shepherds (p2471), apparition of saint leocadia to saint ildefonso (p5412) and the imposition of the chasuble to saint ildefonso (p5424). Registered by ceán (1800): madrigal / colegio de agustinos calzados / six paintings on the main altar with life-size figures, signed in 1603. They represent the incarnation, birth, resurrection and ascension of the son of god; s. Ildefonso receiving the chasuble from the virgin; and the saint himself cutting the cendal of saint leocadia. The paintings with the resurrection and the ascension of christ do not appear registered in any of the known inventories. It is likely that they were stolen or fraudulently sold as unusable at an auction. In any case, his whereabouts are unknown. The four registered in the general inventory of the paintings of the trinity existing in the warehouse and chosen by the academy commission were exhibited in the large hall of the main gallery of the trinity museum (inventory of the paintings and statues presented at the inauguration of the national museum of the trinity on june 24, 1838).
