Bottenskoleproblemet, Jac, 1920

Caricature in folkskollärarna's magazine 8/1920 of school inspector karl nordlund who was opposed to the folk school as a bottom school. His reply refers to a statement he made shortly before against the bottom school. The emerging democracy: - we demand a common childhood school for the entire population. First nursery school inspector nordlund (recently transferred to the primary school from östermalm's teaching staff): - we are not powerful in that task, because the swedish nation has an aristocratic stature. A voice from östermalm: - also tell them that if the public school becomes a bottom school, we will send our children to a private school. Another voice from the same direction: - very true. We can afford that. Date: 1920.
