Portrait of Lucretia Baroness von Berlepsch, née von Schleinitz, Lucas Cranach the Younger, 1562
The picture may have served as the basis for the expanded, much larger portrait by lucas cranach the younger, which was in the church of kleinurleben near langensalza/thuringia, now on loan in gotha. Due to the similarity to the schleinitz portraits in kleinurleben and the monogram gs in the pendant, it may be a portrait of anna von starschedel, third wife of georg von schleinitz of seerhausen and schieritz (1512-1555). Object Type: painting. Date: 1562. Dimensions: height: 50.6 cm (19.9 in); width: 41 cm (16.1 in). Medium: oil on lime. Lucas Cranach d.J. - Porträt der Lucretia Freifrau von Berlepsch
