RWS02 High-Priestess crown, Pamela Colman Smith

RWS02 High-Priestess crown, Pamela Colman Smith

Simplified and vectorized version of the crown included on trump card 2 ("the high priestess") in the rider-waite-smith tarot deck. This was probably influenced by the ancient hathor head-dress of circular disk and horns, and in turn influenced the modern triple goddess symbol of full moon flanked by two crescents. Date: Original date was 1909 by Pamela Colman Smith (published in 1910); subsequent image manipulation and clean-up in 2009.
