Place du molard and rues basses in geneva in 1902. Tramway company kiosk. Image illustrating an article published in the journal de genève on august 25, 1902. The molard fountain was moved to the center of the square at the beginning of 1899, the tram kiosk was "moved back" to occupy the space left free by the fountain. "we now have three enormous kiosks piled on top of each other and this is very ugly and inconvenient" (journal de genève of june 2, 1899). "we have seen the so-called swiss chalet appear, for the use of trams and their passengers, then the fruit kiosk, the two-story electrical transformer" (journal de genève of august 25, 1902). Once this kiosk was demolished in 1953, the fountain returned to its original location. Date: 25 August 1902.
