Plate 12: death and ascension of of the soul: at right, monk on deathbed surrounded by monks and angel, his soul leaves his body in a ray of light; at left, chariot pulled by two horses ascends towards heaven; the whole set in ornamental frame; bound together with remaining 15 prints of the series and 3 sheets of letterpress (titlepage, dedication, and two pages of type set explanatory latin verses) in hard cover wrapped in vellum.
