first or second edition of a map of amsterdam on a scale of 1:24,000. The map was probably part of 'het verheerlykt watergraefs- of diemer-meer, by de stadt amsterdam [. . . ]' by matthaeus brouerius van niedek, published in 1725 and edited by hendrik de leth. The edition cannot be determined because the map was cut off at the frame edge and the only distinguishing criterion (a bookbinding instruction, a letter a, which was placed outside the frame) was cut off.
