O lună după avansarea prinţului carol ("one month after the advancement of prince carol"), cartoon published in furnica magazine. Prince carol of romania, the future king carol ii, was exceptionally made an army sublieutenant at age 16. On the occasion, the reigning king, carol i, met criticism by announcing that prince carol would have more duties than privileges. In this satirical interpretation, the prince, a notorious party-maker, presents the king with a bundle of his recent ious: in romanian, datorii means both "duties" and "debts".
