A view of the canadian falls is shown from the bottom of goat island, near the water line. Large rocks dominate the foreground and terrapin tower is visible at top left above the falls. On the verso of the sheet is a sketch of rainbows in the spray. Date: 1856. Dimensions: 30.6 x 44.4 cm (12 1/16 x 17 1/2 in.). Medium: gouache, graphite, paper.
