The tahitian red-billed rail (gallirallus pacificus, synonym: hypotaenidia pacifica) or tahiti rail is a poorly-known extinct species of rail. It once occurred on tahiti. The other two birds are hawaiian rail (porzana sandwichensis, synonyms: pennula sandwichensis, pennula millsi), hawaiian spotted rail, or hawaiian crake was a somewhat enigmatic species of diminutive rail that lived on big island, hawaiʻi, but is now extinct.
