Two daguerreotypes (ii) (4171785876), circa 1850

Originally the presentation would have created the look of a small velvet covered book, though the front cover is now lost. The other daguerreotype, fmc00291 (pz8238/3), is a hand coloured portait of a young man. Both are displayed behind ornate gold mounts.
