Montanus-page-161-Rich-carriage-of-a-Taikosama-lady-in-waiting

"the rich carriage of taikōsama (court) lady-in-waiting". Lach & van kleyn express their doubt about the "authenticity" of the scene depicted by the dutch artist: both the appearance of the carriage itself, and the fact that a dutchman would even be allowed to look at the court lady and sketch a picture of her.
