Ivan Enchev-Vidyu Bulgarian Folk Crosses 212, March 1917

212. Signpost cross carved from white coarse-grained marble in 1897. Four-winged; its lower wing is the longest, it is decorated with angular ornaments, plastered with blue and red oil paint. Inscriptions are carved on the front of its face, also on the reverse side, which show which is the road to the transfiguration monastery (tarnovsko). It is driven into the ground with a plinth. Rough workmanship. Dimensions: 110x60x18 cm. Sketched in february 1917. (item 3, obr. 25. ). Date: March 1917.
