On the morning of october 16, the coffin was transported to the orthodox church consecrated in honor of alexander nevsky and built at the request and with the help of maria feodorovna in 1883 in the center of copenhagen. The coffin was covered with the white and blue st. Andrew's and danish royal flags and installed in the middle of the church on a special platform. Government wreaths from france, belgium, brazil, china, and japan were placed nearby. Every day until the funeral, memorial services and prayers for the deceased were held there. Date: October 1928.
