He married petronella von der schulenberg, countess of walsingham, illegitimate daughter of george i. Another copy of this painting is in the national portrait gallery, london (inv. No. Npg 158), and a pastel of the sitter by hoare is in the victoria and albert museum, london (inv. No. P. 11-1943). Date: 18th century.
