Siltatsaari, Topi Vikstedt, December 1917

"before we had the czar, now we have the siltatsaari [silta-czar]"; right-wing caricaturist topi vikstedt thought that the left wing of labour movement (which had its headquarters in helsinki's siltasaari) had replaced the russian czar as the main opressor of finland – and was possibly worse. Published in finnish humour magazine kerberos. Date: December 1917.
