In cooperation between the iillustrirten zeitung and the hannoverscher anzeiger for the very specially designed special issue number 3538, "136th volume" with the title cultural images from germany iv: hanover and border areas from april 20, 1911, the cover title made of slightly thicker paper is followed by the first inside title with the special page numbering with the roman numeral i (not printed here). The inside title is reproduced in almost din a3 format with an almost full-surface four-color print by the graphic artist änne koken and an artistic advertisement by the sprengel company for the "sprengel cremosa chocolate". The art nouveau picture with a woman and two girls on a green meadow in summer shows the artist's signature ak in a circle at the bottom right. In order to create the best possible digital copy of the original given the technical possibilities available, the rusting staples were carefully removed after the complete newspaper was donated to the gottfried wilhelm leibniz library - lower saxony state library, and then the individual pages were laid flat on the din a3 scanner provided by the friends of hanover. Despite a scanning resolution of 600x600 dpi, this digital copy still does not achieve the desired level of detail, even with the additional detour of post-processing using a photo editing program in the wikipedia office in hanover. Date: 20 April 1911.
