The irony of egypt’s idolatry towards the human form is suggested by the heads on each corner of a pagan altar. Unwittingly, they worship a form in the image of the true god. Jehovah, has, however, manifested himself in the events of the exodus; the altars of the idolatrous egyptians are therefore in a state of decay. Date: 1 January 1790.
