Creation of eve; eve kneels before god in paradise; adam lies on the ground resting his head in his hand; the circular design is surrounded by swirling waves and fishes and a ring of clouds containing stars and a moon; angels, half-length, encircle the central scene and some play instruments, surmounted by god; at the corners are the four winds, blowing heads; a copy of a woodcut designed by holbein for luther's german translation of the old testament, 'das alte testament deutsch', basel 1523 (hollstein 64a).
