Ivan Enchev-Vidyu Bulgarian Folk Crosses 219, March 1917

219. Cross - grave monument, in the courtyard of the preorazhensky monastery near tarnovo. Its upper wing is circular (feminine) with a frieze of triangular ornaments; the side wings are small, and the lower one is large and stuck straight into the ground without a plinth. On his face between the side wings are engraved small isosceles crosses with outwardly extended ends; a line is engraved parallel to the final outline. It was thinly carved out of white sandstone after the russo-turkish war. Dimensions: 70x29x7 cm. Sketched in march 1917. (item 3, obr. 47. ). Date: March 1917.
