Ivan Enchev-Vidyu Bulgarian Folk Crosses 248, 18 April 1917

248. Cross - grave monument, in the courtyard of the "all saints" church, ruse. Carved after the russo-turkish war from friable white limestone. Its three upper wings are quartered, with zigzags in the middle in the form of the letter "m"; the upper one is larger than the lateral ones; the lower one is the largest — hexagonal, and based on a plinth. Its face is decorated with engraved lines, flowers, two crosses and indented triangles, and in the middle is carved a four-winged cross, the vertical wings of which are slightly longer than the other two. Drawing and technique good. Dimensions without plinth: 58x27x11 cm. Sketched on 18. Iv. 1917. (t. 6, obr. 9. ). Date: 18 April 1917.
