Head-piece to joshua. Vignette with a pile of armour and horn with snake's head on a rock; letterpress in two columns below and on verso. Joshua cap 1 v 9: “’have i not commanded thee? be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the lord thy god is with thee whithersoever thou goest. ’” 1792. Inscriptions: lettered below image with production detail: "p. J. De loutherbourg del j landseer aq forti fec" and publication line: "published 20th sep 1792 by thos macklin london".
