Individual shuvalova no. 116; in pencil at the top: no. 279; stamp at the bottom and on the stretcher: g. R. M. Inv. № 6496 (number crossed out) received: 1925 from the shuvalov house museum (leningrad) zh-184 depicted in mourning attire (in connection with the death of empress elizabeth petrovna) with the order of st. Andrew the first-called (ribbon and star). In the 1980 catalogue - unknown artist. 1760-1790s; dated 1760s. Dated by the original (1762; state tretyakov gallery) and the inscription on the back of the canvas. Date: 1762.
